I've been sick today so I spent the day goofing off, and started a really fun project--value cards for the Young Women's Personal Progress.
Here's my first one!
It's made to fit 4x6 paper, or scale down to a 2x3 for wallet size.
I am an unfinished work, and so are many of my projects. This blog is just an odd collection of things I make and do.

FROG: Fully Rely On God (and glue)
I like frogs! They remind me to
Fully
Rely
Rely
On
God
I had this silly frog in a plant (I love plants too!)
and I knocked it down one day, and the arm broke off.
Normally I would just throw it out, but I really like this one,
so I got out the Krazy Glue and glued it back on.

Okay, you can see it if you look closely, especially at the
back where a drop of glue oozed out,
but it is so cute tucked away in the plant.

Thanks to Anthony for taking the picture for me!

Love is Spoken Here
I love craft projects that we can make and take home in an hour! Our church women's group made inspirational tiles for our homes, or for gifts, using rub on vinyl lettering. The lady teaching us had all the vinyl cut out for us, so it was a really easy project.
All we had to do was clean the tile and rub on the vinyl.
All we had to do was clean the tile and rub on the vinyl.
My son went along and took some great pictures.
This is me, centering the lettering on the tile.
These are my hands carefully pulling off the plastic.
He didn't take a picture of the finished product.
Others did varying sayings, like this one:
and this one:
Now I have to figure out how to hang it. Maybe a square frame?
Or find a way to fasten a picture hanger on the back.
I have a large triangle hanger that would look really good with it
but I don't know how to attach it so the tile won't fall off.
I would welcome any suggestions!
Hey, I'd welcome comments and followers too!

Understanding of a Child
I started cleaning out the garage, a little bit. Missy L's Hannah Montana Beanbag Chair was out there. I don't really have a space for it in the house, so I was going to give it to her to take home. Unfortunately, I discovered a mouse had made itself comfy in her chair. It does not fit in the washing machine either (Yes, I really tried that!) so I ended up throwing it in the garbage.
When her daddy brought her over on Friday, there was her chair sticking out of the top of the very full trash can. Uh-oh! He explained to her what happened, and when I apologized, she said, "It's Okay, Grammy. I understand."
Now we are faced with needing to sell our house, and we can't quite come to terms with it. We've only lived here 20 months. I need to go to the Lord and say, "It's Okay, Lord. I understand." And let go.
